With proper care, it can maintain its beauty, softness and structure for 12 months or longer.

Washing Your Wig

We recommend washing your wig every 10–15 wears, or when product build-up becomes visible.

How to wash:

  1. Gently detangle using a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends upward.

  2. Use lukewarm water. Avoid hot water.

  3. Apply a sulphate-free shampoo and gently smooth through the hair.

  4. Rinse thoroughly.

  5. Apply conditioner to mid-lengths and ends only (avoid the lace and knots).

  6. Rinse and gently pat dry with a towel. Do not rub.

Allow the wig to air dry on a wig stand whenever possible.

Heat Styling

Bella Haire wigs can be styled using heat tools.

  • Always use a heat protectant

  • Keep temperature below 180°C

  • Avoid direct heat on the lace

Excessive heat shortens the lifespan of the hair.

Brushing & Daily Maintenance

  • Use a wide-tooth comb or soft bristle brush

  • Detangle gently from ends upward

  • Avoid brushing when soaking wet

For curly or wavy textures, use your fingers or a wide comb to maintain definition.

Sleeping

We recommend removing your wig before sleeping.

If you choose to sleep in your wig:

  • Tie the hair loosely in a low braid

  • Use a silk or satin pillowcase

This helps prevent tangling and friction.

Storage

When not in use:

  • Store your wig on a wig stand

  • Keep it away from direct sunlight

  • Avoid humid environments

Proper storage helps maintain shape and lace integrity.

Colour & Treatments

We do not recommend bleaching, dyeing or chemically altering your wig.

Any chemical processing may compromise the hair quality and void eligibility for return or repair.

Professional Maintenance

For optimal longevity, we recommend occasional professional maintenance such as:

  • Deep conditioning treatments

  • Knot sealing

  • Lace adjustments
